Calvin Lunga Cebekhulu studied fashion design at the Tshwane University of Technology and started his own brand, Czene.24, in 2018. Originally from Nquthu, a town in the Kwazulu-Natal Province of South Africa, he now resides in Gauteng.

His design is modern contemporary street style, providing androgynous garments for a unique, fashion-conscious group. The concept behind his collection ‘Wear me with kindness, I am your Armour’ is the adaptation of a vast growing niche market of gender neutral, unisex clothing, which enables non-binary norm. 

Inspired by the urban street style, and influenced by environmentally friendly, sustainable fabrics, Czene aims to challenge the norm of femininity vs masculinity.
